In the third grade, Julia Sooy did a book report on a biography of Albert Einstein; she's been interested ever since. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she now lives and works as an editor in New York City. She is the author of Our World Is Relative, illustrated by Molly Walsh, and Every Day, Chemistry, illustrated by Bonnie Pang.
